I was really excited to see bamboo wall art as one of the products that Paper Culture can personalize for you.  Bamboo is a great alternative to traditional wood because it is such a fast growing plant.  It is actually a grass that can be harvested and keeps growing just like your lawn does!  Here are a couple of other useful bamboo facts for you:

For my review, I went onto the Paper Culture website and designed my own bamboo wall art with a personal photo.  This past summer my family went up north to visit my husband’s siblings.  We don’t all get together very often and since we had all the kids together it was a perfect photo opportunity!  Between my husband and his 2 brothers we have 8 kids ranging in age from 4 months to 13 years.  Boy, was that a little bit chaotic to get organized but we wanted a picture of all of them to remember the day by.  After much giggling, shuffling of children and a tad bit of arguing we managed to get a decent photo!

The process of designing the wall art was incredibly simple.  I used a basic photo editing software to get the picture to look just right and saved it on my hard drive.  Then, all I had to do on the Paper Culture website was choose the size bamboo wall art I wanted and upload the photo.  Everything went pretty smoothly and the customer service people were very helpful when I had questions about the process.  Delivery was fairly quick and I was very impressed with the quality of the bamboo wall art that I received.  It is a very sturdy, heavy weight piece and the picture quality is very good!  I think that my husband’s parents are really going to enjoy this personalized Christmas gift for a long time.  They can look back on all of their grandchildren and remember the chaos of trying to wrangle 8 kids together for a photo!
