Every year, on September 29th, many countries happily celebrate National Coffee Day. This is a holiday that I stand behind 100%! Any celebration that encourages us to drink more of my favorite caffeinated beverage gets a thumbs up from me! In honor of this wonderful holiday, Mom Central and International Delights put together a wonderful program to have bloggers share coffee goodness with our friends and family by hosting a party! International Delights makes an amazing iced coffee from 100% Arabica coffee that is so easy to serve and tastes great.
For my International Delights coffee party, I decided to try out one of the recipes that they sent for the Mocha Chip Muffins and made a double batch so I had plenty to go around. They were incredibly easy to make and boy did the house smell so GOOD when they came out of the oven! Don’t they look tasty:
I was sent some party favors, recipe cards and coupons to share with my guests. I decided to do a ‘morning iced coffee’ theme since I had made the muffins and included a variety of fruit, yogurt, and wraps to go with them. Whether you like your iced coffee in the morning or on a hot summer afternoon, I think you will like the International Delights Iced Coffee. Did you know that 62% of iced coffee drinkers drink it during winter months? Yep, this is not just a summer treat! You can find this iced coffee in several flavors including Vanilla, Mocha, Caramel Machiato and Original.
International Delights National Coffee Day Celebration
I decided to invite a few of my mom friends for a coffee get together. There are quite a few of us that work from home or have odd hours that lets us gather on a weekday morning without our kids. Instead of a ‘girls night out’ we like to occasionally enjoy a ‘mom’s morning in’! Who has the energy to go out at night, right? Well, I think my friends were very happy to come over and help me out with this project! Food and iced coffee are always a great way to entice friends to help out!
So, did we all enjoy our National Coffee Day celebration? I think so! The international Delights iced coffee is sweet and creamy with a light coffee flavor. As someone who prefers really bold coffee I think the coffee flavor could be a little stronger. However most people probably prefer a lighter taste, especially in an iced coffee. While I have tried all the flavors of International Delights Coffee before this party, the Mocha was the perfect balance between coffee and chocolate. I think my party was a hit! And my kids were THRILLED that I had leftover muffins! They ate those for breakfast for several days!
National Coffee Day is a great opportunity to sit with friends for relaxation and fun conversation. With International Delights Iced Coffee it was easy for my friends and I to have a relaxing morning together to just gossip and shoot the breeze! No worrying about whether you will find a spot at the crowded coffee house, just pull up another chair in the kitchen!

I love International Delights. I think I need to have a party at my house!
I have never tried international delights. They look good though and would of never thought to use it in a recipe which by the way looked very yummy.
