With the onset of cooler weather I am forced to give up my flip flop addiction for something a tad bit warmer. While I would love to live in fuzzy socks and slippers all winter, I do actually have to leave the house on occasion! I get extremely tired of wearing sneakers every day and really love the look of a nice pair of boots with my jeans. When my husband and I take the motorcycle out for a ride in the mountains, a good pair of boots is vital. The ideal pair of boots for me is one that is comfortable. I want them to look good, certainly, but I am not sacrificing comfort for style. I was thrilled to be able to choose a pair of boots from the Earth Footwear line to review and have been very impressed with both the quality and comfort of these boots. For my review, I received the Chinook Boots, shown above, in Cinnamon. This particular boot also comes in a dark grey as well. This is a mid-calf boot with soft folds that run across the forefoot. It pairs vintage burnished leather with a layer of brushed suede in a boot that is both comfortable and stylish. It has a wide 2 1/2 inch heel and is offered in women’s sizes that range from 5 to 12 with a retail value of $149.00.
Earth Boots
My Opinion: I am always hesitant about ordering shoes online because I can never be sure that the sizes run true. There is nothing that I hate more than ordering something online only to discover that it doesn’t fit. I was thrilled when my boots came that they fit absolutely PERFECTLY! That, alone, gives this company a big thumbs up from me. These boots are also absolutely beautiful. The suede and leather are so incredibly soft, the stitching and design are very well done and most importantly, the boots are comfortable. I can easily wear these boots all day without my feet hurting in the slightest and I am not really used to wearing a 2 inch heel. There is a nice amount of arch support and cushioning and even after being on my feet for hours they did not hurt. If you are looking for a well made boot that is not only attractive but comfortable I definitely think you will be happy with selection at Earth Footwear.
