Salba chia is the most nutrient dense form of chia seed available, and the richest whole food source of Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber found in nature. It is almost all white, as opposed to ‘traditional’ chia which is a blend of black and white chia seeds. This makes it easier to blend into your favorite recipes without being noticed too much. The Salba Smart chia seeds that I received are grown using organic practices in South America and are Non-GMO Project Verified.

I was really surprised at the totally white seeds! All of the chia I have seen in the past have been primarily black with only a few white seeds scattered in.
