One of the things I enjoy most about fall is the traditional fall scents. Seasonal foods for fall include things like apples, pumpkins and sweet potatoes and spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves go perfectly with them. I like to bring those scents in other parts of the house as well and that includes my beauty routine. This homemade Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Scrub will not only bring the scents of fall into your bathroom but it will also help boost circulation and keep your skin healthy at the same time. This sugar scrub is incredibly easy to make and most people have all the ingredients already sitting in their pantry. You can omit the essential oil if you don’t have it but you can also find this ingredient on Amazon. Check out the Thieves Essential Oil

if you don’t have any on hand or look at your local health food store. This sugar scrub works best in the shower but you can use it on your feet after a bath and just rinse them off in warm, running water after you are done. For a relaxing evening of pampering yourself you can make this sugar scrub part of your at home pedicure. Just light a candle, turn on some music and enjoy the scents of fall without ever leaving your house!

  1. I recently tried a brown sugar scrub, but I felt like it was missing something – now I know, essential oils! Thanks so much – I think the oil will really add something to the scrub.
