Yesterday was hot and sunny and we decided to head up to Helen, GA in the north Georgia mountains with some friends of ours and enjoy one last summer outing before we get down to the business of fall sports, school, etc. Helen, GA is a cute little town up in North Georgia (about 1 1/2 hours north of Atlanta, GA) that is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My Camping Experience with BRX Adventure Gear! #BRXtravelgear

 My family and I love to camp...it is always fun to pack up our gear, put up a tent and rough it for a few days in the woods! I haven't really spent too much time in the last 10 years investing in the right gear for our travel adventures, though. We have an odd assortment of packs and bags that we usually bring with us...some we like but others really just don't make the cut. Weekend Camping Adventure on Lake Hartwell in North Georgia

Well, we had a great weekend camping adventure on Lake Hartwell in North Georgia with the Cub Scouts. If you haven't tried your hand at camping as a family yet, I highly recommend it. We are lucky that camping in Georgia can pretty much be done all year round. We have a few chilly months in the winter but they aren't horrible. Camping is a great way to bond as a family and it makes for a great outdoor adventure!
