Easy Homemade Fruit Dip Recipe

As we move into the new year, I am determined to share more of the simple recipes I create with my readers.  I cook from scratch almost every day, however, taking the time to photograph and blog my journey doesn’t always happen.  Since we had all day off yesterday for New Year’s Day, I made this easy homemade fruit dip recipe to enjoy during the parades and football games. My kids love this cream cheese fruit dip so I made a big batch and watched them happily eat a metric ton of fruit all day!

Cream Cheese Fruit Dip Ingredients

The great thing about this cream cheese fruit dip recipe is that you can vary the ingredients, depending on your personal flavor preferences.  I made strawberry fruit dip using strawberry yogurt and strawberry jam.  If you prefer a tropical twist, use coconut yogurt and mango jam.  Or, go with blueberry, peach, or any other flavor you want.  This easy homemade fruit dip recipe is a great way to get kids to eat more fruit.  It’s also just really delicious!

Four Ingredient Easy Fruit Dip

Now, one thing to keep in mind is that this strawberry fruit dip is not going to be bright pink.  I used organic strawberry jam and a strawberry yogurt with no artificial colors.  Learning to eat normal colored food is one of the most important lessons kid should learn about food.  Just because something is RED, doesn’t mean it tastes any better!  Get kids used to eating real food that isn’t neon colored or full or artificial flavors!
