I am not usually one to wear a lot of makeup. I prefer to choose a few key pieces that are simple and natural to help blend my complexion and bring out a little bit of color. I really enjoy the loose mineral makeup, particularly the blush because I think it blends better and looks more natural. In order to use the loose powdered type makeup, you need to have a few makeup brushes in your collection. EcoTools offers a wonderful selection of makeup brushes that fit right in line with my green beauty routine. If you are not familiar with EcoTools , here is some information about them from their website:

For my review, I received the EcoTools Touch Up Set. This is a set of 4 brushes that comes in a convenient traveling pouch. The set includes:
- Long-Handled Finishing Brush
- Eye Shading Brush
- Lash & Brow Grooming Brush
- Lip/Detailer Brush
- Hemp & Cotton Case
EcoTools Eco-friendly makeup brushes
So, my opinion of this set? This set of EcoTools brushes has everything you would want for on the go touch-ups of your makeup. The bristles of the brushes are incredibly soft and the wood of the handles is very smooth. They feel comfortable to hold and makeup goes on smoothly. They do not retain any of the powder in the bristles once they have been gently cleaned. I love the pouch that holds them all neatly together. It is very attractive and well made. It looks like this brush set and pouch will hold up a nice long time!
EcoTools Gives Back campaign
Right now, EcoTools has a great program going on where YOU get to choose how they donate their 1% of profits. Through EcoTool’s partnership with EarthShare and 1% for the Planet, consumers have the chance to decide how the brand’s yearly donation will be divided between three different EarthShare organizations. You can choose from:
The Jane Goodall Institute – Working to protect the world’s wildlife, specifically the chimpanzee population, while conserving habitats and raising awareness
The Conservation Fund – Aims to protect America’s outdoors and strives to build both a healthy environment and a healthy economy
Ocean Conservancy – Seeks to keep the earth’s oceans clean and free of pollution, while working to keep the coast clear by stopping trash before it reaches the coastline
From July 2 through July 31, fans can visit the EcoTools Facebook page or EcoTools website to participate. The percentage of votes each organization receives is the percent of the total donation that will be contributed.
