Food Network Chopped All Stars

My husband and I are huge fans of the Food Network. Many of our nights are spent watching cooking shows and drooling over all the luscious creations the chefs come up with. My kids have been known to ask if they can turn on cooking shows! I think they like to watch the the Food Network just so they can tell me what to make for dinner the next night! If you are also a fan of the Food Network you have probably see the show Chopped. It’s a reality based cooking  show  hosted by Ted Allen that pits four chefs against one another to compete for a chance to win $10,000. Well,  Food Network Chopped All Stars Season 3 premieres on Sunday, April 7th at 9pm ET/PT. In this series, the  Food Network faces off against the Cooking Channel in the Chopped kitchen.

Sixteen  competitors will battle it out for the title of All-Star champion and a $50,000 prize for the winner’s charity. This five-part competition series, hosted by Ted Allen, includes four chefs going head-to-head each week in themed episodes. Some of the episodes include Food Network chefs vs. Cooking Channel chefs, a battle of the Mega Chefs, a competition between the Chopped judges, and a culinary showdown between four celebrities with a love of cooking. Who gets to judge these culinary competitions? The recipes will be judged by a rotating roster of Chopped regulars who decide who gets “chopped” each week, including Maneet Chauhan, Marcus Samuelsson, Aarón Sánchez, Chris Santos and Geoffrey Zakarian. The competitors on the Food Network Chopped All Stars are challenged to create incredible recipes in a very limited amount of time from the ingredients in the Chopped mystery basket. The winner of each episode will compete for the grand prize on Sunday, May 5th at 9pm ET/PT.
