I was making my own yogurt from kefir, but then it started bothering me so I got rid of all my kefir grains. Come to find out.. any animal product forms acid in the body. If I eat acid, I have to eat lots of alkaline things.
My kids eat a ton of yogurt and this is a great way to save on it. I have digestive issues and I find yogurt is a big help for that. High quality greek yogurt or homemade seems to work best.
