This game day appetizers recipe is part of the blogger program by Naturally Fresh and The Motherhood.  Opinions, experiences and photos shared here are my own.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock the last few weeks, you are well aware of what big event is happening this weekend. Whether or not you are a football fan doesn’t really matter. Between the commercials, the parties and the food, just about everyone will probably be watching the Superbowl in a few days! In honor of this special event, I thought these chicken and ranch taco cups would be a delicious snack!

My Favorite Game Day Appetizers

When I peruse the selection of  game day appetizers at a party, I always head right to the ones that can be eaten without a fork or a plate. Finger foods make the best game day appetizers!

I have no desire to sit in a chair and worry about how I am going to hold my plate and my drink at the same time and still manage to get food to my face. I like to head over to the food table and nibble! When I was asked to create a recipe using Naturally Fresh Ranch Dressing, I knew I wanted to find a recipe that was easy to make AND easy to eat!

Naturally Fresh Dressing for Your Next Game Day Appetizers

Chicken and Ranch dressing are a classic combination. Naturally Fresh Ranch Dressing contains only real, wholesome ingredients and NO artificial colors or flavors. There are also no artificial preservatives so you will find them in the refrigerator section of your local Kroger or Publix.

If you don’t live near those stores, check out the Naturally Fresh Store Locator to find your nearest retailer! Their classic ranch dressing is made with buttermilk that they make right onsite. It is incredibly thick with loads of spices that you can see and taste! I was honestly very impressed with the flavor and consistency!

Taco Seasoning and Ranch Dressing Tips

For this easy game day appetizer recipe, I chose to use a homemade taco seasoning but a store bought one will work just fine. The exact amount of Naturally Fresh dressing you add to your shredded chicken breast is flexible. It will depend on how large your chicken breast is and how ‘creamy’ you want the filling to be. Start with 1/3 cup and add more as needed. I put the fillo cup shells into a mini muffin tin to make filling them a bit easier!

How to serve your taco cups

If you prefer to make these game day appetizers a little bit bigger, just make your own shells using wonton wrappers or small squares of pie crust. These game day appetizers really are very flexible! Top with shredded cheddar and a few green onions for a delicious and easy presentation!

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these were to make. The fillo cups did not get soggy at all, even sitting on the table for a couple hours. Of course, I don’t think these game day appetizers will last that long at your next party!
