Montreal Meatball Wraps Recipe

Okay, last night I was originally going to make meatball subs for dinner but was too lazy to go to the grocery store just to buy grinder rolls! Upon rummaging in my fridge, I came across these wraps that I had bought last week for lunches and thought I would give this meatball wrap idea a go! Just a very simple recipe for the meatballs using an organic  Montréal Seasoning from the Teeny Tiny Spice Co. of Vermont™. It is a slight modification of the recipe that came with the spice itself:

Montreal Meatball Wraps Recipe

Montreal Meatball Wraps

Meatball Ingredients:

2 pounds of ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried basil
4 TBSP Montréal Seasoning from the Teeny Tiny Spice Co. (at right)

Other wrap  ingredients:

Whole Wheat wraps (I used Flat Out)
Lettuce, onion, more Parmesan cheese, spaghetti sauce (warmed) or other toppings of choice

Directions:

1 Put your ground beef in a bowl and add all the other meatball ingredients. Mix well.

2 Roll meatballs about 2 to 3 inches in diameter and place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until cooked through. While the meatballs are cooking, get out all the wrap ingredients. Warm the spaghetti sauce slightly in a pan on the stove if needed.

3. Assemble the wraps right before eating an enjoy!
