Getting old isn’t all that much fun. I can no longer eat whatever I want without gaining weight and I have more aches and pains than I can count. My energy levels are definitely not where they should be. And my skin is starting to lose that ‘youthful glow’ that I had in my 30’s. I do what I can to combat these natural side effects of aging. Good food, plenty of water and regular exercise help quite a bit. However when I was offered the option of trying out new antioxidant skin care products and an energy supplement from MitoQ I thought it sounded like a product I really needed in my daily routine.

What is MitoQ?
Every cell in the human body has tiny little organelles called mitochondria. These little powerhouses take glucose (sugar) and oxygen and turn them into energy that your cells and organs need to function. Mitochondria fight cell death and aging so you really need to keep them healthy. That is where MitoQ comes in. MitoQ delivers CoQ to the mitochondria to help keep them healthy and functioning at peak levels.
MitoQ is a brand new type of antioxidant called a mitochondria-targeted anti-oxidant. It was developed in New Zealand at Otago University, Dunedin. Check out this info graphic that explains more about it: Meet Your Mitochondria.
MitoQ Antioxidant Skin Care Products
MitoQ mitochondria-targeted anti-oxidant is a combination of two different products. You can get a capsule supplement to take orally as well as a moisturizer. The combination of these two antioxidant skin care products has been created to boost the health of your mitochondria as well as give you back a bit more energy. They deliver the antioxidant Coenzyme Q (commonly called CoQ10) directly to your mitochondria, supporting their natural function.
MitoQ Serum is designed to support skin cells to achieve youthful levels of collagen and elastin. The MitoQ capsule supplement helps your body’s other cells (brain, liver, kidney, etc) function at peak levels. This combination of skincare and improved cellular function are designed to make the aging process a tad bit less noticeable.
MitoQ Power Antioxidant Rejuvenation Serum and Supplements
The MitoQ Power Antioxidant Rejuvenation Serum is very light and silky. I loved the feel of my skin after it was absorbed and I appreciate the fact that there is no scent. Great for people with sensitive skin. I have only been using it for a few weeks but really like this product and it leaves my skin feeling soft and subtle. Two MitoQ capsules every morning are all you need to deliver that beneficial CoQ to your mitochondria. I’m not sure I’m feeling a boost of energy yet but it’s only been a few weeks. The combination of these two antioxidant skin care products may, over time, help smooth all those fine lines in your skin as well as provide a boost of energy. At 43 I can definitely use all the help I can get!
Have you ever tried antioxidant skin care products?

This looks really easy. I have used the regiments that have upteen steps with little results. I could see giving this a try!
I have never tried a skin antioxidant. I will say that I am horrible at skin regimens. I will try certain ones and then forget to use them.
I have found I have to leave things on my bathroom counter. If they are out of site I forget about them!
