Tasteful Selections potatoes come in several varieties, all prewashed and ready to cook with no need to peel. They are small and uniform in size so they cook evenly in a very short amount of time.
Toss them into the slow cooker on low before you leave for work and by the time you get home, they are soft and ready for mashing. I used the Honey Gold potatoes for this crock pot mashed potatoes recipe but they also come in Purple Passion, Sunrise Medley and many others.

Golden Crock Pot Mashed Potatoes Recipe
This creamy potato recipe is perfect for holidays like Christmas or Thanksgiving. Make these easy mashed potatoes in the slow cooker or crockpot so you can spend more time with family and less time cooking.
- 4 pounds Tasteful Selections Honey Gold potatoes
- 3 to 4 TBSP olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp fresh rosemary, crushed
- 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup (half stick) butter, cut in slices
- 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- Place potatoes in the crock pot
- drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic and rosemary
- Cook on low 6 to 7 hours
- Mash slightly with potato masher
- Add butter, 1/2 cup milk and cheese
- Continue mashing or use a hand held mixer to mix them right in the crock pot.
- Add more milk to achieve desired consistency and salt and pepper to taste
