OKAb flipflops: Eco Friendly and Adorable!

It is finally summer vacation (YAY!)  and I will be pretty much living poolside for the next couple of months. My kids are on swim team, so we have practice and meets and of course, they want to spend every free minute splashing around with their friends! I pretty much wear flip flops for the entire summer and they take a beating pretty fast with all the chlorine water. Not to mention the fact that I tend to garden in my flip flops as well. I recently received a pair of  OKAb. Shoes That Love You flip flops and love that they are both stylish AND sturdy! Who is OKAb.? Here is some information from their website:

Not so many choices for the men, but honestly, do men really care about flip flop style? We females have WAY more fashion sense!
The thing I LOVE about these shoes is that they are completely recyclable! They are made of #3 plastic and you can even send them back to the OKAb. corporate headquarters, where they will be ground and mixed with virgin material to create new product. To learn more about this program, click here.
Because these shoes are made with solid plastic, which is a  non-absorbent material, it makes the shoes machine washable and easy to sanitize. They are also lightweight and very flexible.

My opinion:  I was sent the Tiffany wild animal prints which is a  flip flop thong with an adorable bow. They really are very lightweight and sturdy. I have been wearing them up to the pool and I love how much traction they provide, even on the pool deck! There is a raised spot right about at the arch of the foot that has little nubbies on it to provide a bit of support and massage while you walk. Very comfortable!
Ok, so my husband isn’t a fan of the little bow, but we have already established that men have NO fashion sense, right? I LOVE that these shoes are both cute AND functional! And when they finally succumb to the chlorine and garden dirt, I will be sure to recycle them! Although, I am thinking these are just too pretty to wear in the garden!
