Many years ago, I went to the doctor for a muscle spasm in my shoulder that would not go away. Little did I know that it was the beginning of a very long battle with chronic pain. After a year of over the counter pain medications and muscle relaxers, my doctor sent me to physical therapy because I was getting worse instead of better. Years later, with a diagnosis of Myofascial Pain Syndrome, I have moved away from much of the ‘doctor prescribed’ therapies and switched to a more natural approach.

How to peel a mango
Up until now, mangoes scared me. I seriously had no idea how to slice the darn things. Every time I tried, I made a GIANT mess and was left with very little actual mango. However, I just purchased a mango slicer and seriously, this is the most amazing tool I have ever discovered!
Just press down firmly and push it right through the center of the mango. Slice the fleshy part into strips and run a knife between the flesh and the skin. You can have fresh mango in only a few minutes with barely any work! Best thing ever!

I need one of those mango slicers. I typically shy away from them, too. Thanks for the great recipe. I have been looking for more recipes that use turmeric. #client
