I worked in the pharmacy for 15 years. I firmly believe that pharmaceutical products save lives, however, I also believe that they shouldn’t be the first solution you turn to. Many health problems can be solved with dietary and lifestyle changes. These are often much safer than prescription drugs.
Many people suffer from high cholesterol. Before you ask your doctor for a prescription for cholesterol-lowering drugs, talk to them about natural ways to lower your cholesterol. Also, discuss the possibility of using natural supplements like CholesLo™ to help lower cholesterol naturally.

Natural Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol
Cholesterol numbers too high? Concerned about heart health? You need to change a few things in your life. Discuss these suggestions with your healthcare provider if you have been diagnosed with high cholesterol.
Limit your intake of saturated fats, trans fats, and dietary cholesterol.
Your body processes fruits and vegetables differently than it does bacon and bakery goods. Read nutrition labels and do some research. Certain fats are better for you like olive oil and avocado. Others, like those found in fatty meats and processed foods, are NOT so good for you. Skip the processed foods and meats high in saturated fat. Instead, choose seafood which is full of GOOD fats that are beneficial to your body.
Eat a more high fiber diet
Fiber ‘scrubs’ the body of excess cholesterol. Eat foods high in dietary fiber like oats, sweet potatoes, beans, carrots, berries, and apples as well as many others. Ask your doctor for a list of foods that are high in fiber and stop tossing the snack food in your grocery cart. You won’t eat it if you don’t see it in the pantry.
Choose non-animal based proteins
Cut back on the amount of meat in your diet. This is one of the best natural ways to lower your cholesterol. We choose meatless meals 3 to 4 nights a week for both health reasons AND to reduce our carbon footprint. Add beans, nuts, or even quinoa to your diet. Most Americans eat more protein than their body needs. Join the Meatless Monday trend to reduce your cholesterol. Need meatless dinner ideas? Lose Weight
I am all for being comfortable in your skin and support the ‘body positive’ movement. However, the human body was not designed to carry an excessive amount of weight. Looking for the best natural ways to lower your cholesterol? Losing weight is right at the top. Talk to your doctor about healthy ways to lose weight. Join a gym, go for a walk, or buy an exercise bicycle. Shed a few pounds and you may lower your cholesterol.
Discuss supplements with your doctor
Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, cholesterol levels refuse to drop. Talk to your doctor about natural supplements. There are several natural ways to lower your cholesterol that can be found in pill form.
