I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding vaccines in general and the flu shot particularly.  Let me just say that my family is vaccinated with mandatory vaccines, although we chose a slightly altered schedule to spread them out a bit.  We do not, however, get a flu shot.  Judge me if you want but we are young, healthy, and low risk.  I have a background in the healthcare field. Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup orange juice (fresh is best but from the container will work, too)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 TBSP minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp powdered turmeric
  • pinch or two of cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a small glass and mix very well. It will settle quickly so chug it back as soon as you finish stirring!

  3. how often do you take this?
    • there really isn't a perfect number. daily wouldn't hurt but definitely weekly at least. And especially if you feel a cold coming on!
